Felix Obuah: Rivers PDP Chairman opens membership door to APC members
In a bid to collectively move the state forward, Obuah urged ward chairmen of the PDP in the State to accept APC members who are willing to join the PDP.
Following the Supreme Court's verdict, which upheld the election of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State in the state, Felix Obuah, has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) members to accept the development and join hands with the government.
In a statement by Obuah's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, he said Wike's resolve to work with the APC explains his open mindedness and genuine love for all irrespective of party affiliations.
He said the governor's move was also borne out of his "burning desire to lift the State from a primordial base of precarious politics to that, directed by sound, progressive and patriotic statesmen.
