Five Confirmed Dead As Suicide Bomber Attacks Community Reclaimed By Military
No fewer than five persons have lost their lives during an attack by suicide bombers on Gwoza town in Borno state, northeastern Nigeria.
Leadership reports that the terrorist sneaked into a resettling community which has people who were recently displaced.
Witnesses and security sources confirmed that the town, which is about 123km southwest of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital was attacked by a male suicide bomber.

According to Yusuf Dan, who still has relations in Izge community, where the attack took place, a call was put across to him from the border community near Cameroonian that they were under attack.
“The bomber whom they described as a man moved into a crowded area of Izge where some of our people are now putting up under makeshift pavilions and detonated himself. Five persons were killed including the bomber and many people, amomg whom were also children were seriously injured,” he was quoted to have said.
Confirming the attack also was a top government official, who said a government delegation that was set to take relief items to the people of Gwoza are trapped inside the town, but had to put off the trip for fear of attack.
This news is coming just days after it was reported that 24 Boko Haram terrorists were killed by soldiers in Cameroon in a move to further put an end to insurgency in West Africa.
