Lagos Braces Up As Olympic 5 Aside Finale Holds This Weekend!

Hey football lovers! Come Friday and Saturday January 15 & 16, the entire city of Lagos will be agog with football excitement as the finale of the Olympic 5 Aside competition will hold at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island.

The competition which was set up with a mission to encourage young football talents and promote grass-root football will have sixteen teams from across Nigeria battle each other to win N1.5m cash prize and also represent the country at the 5 Aside World championships holding in Thailand later in the year.


Guess what! Guests at the event will also have the opportunity to win mouth watering prizes; one of such is a sponsored trip to England to watch one of Manchester City football matches live!.

Expected to be present at the event are several celebrities and sports personalities including Beat FM OAP, Jimmie and highest goal scorer at the FIFA U17 World Cup, Victor Osimehn as well as talent scouts and government officials.
