Olubadan: Buhari, Governors to grace late monarch's burial
Ajimobi said the late monarch was one of the people instrumental to him becoming the State Governor.
President Muhammadu Buhari, state governors and other top government dignitaries are expected to attend the final burial ceremony of the late Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1, scheduled for February 12.
Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi disclosed this in Ibadan on Friday, Jan. 22.
"Our own dear President and my colleague governors will top list of dignitaries we will be inviting to give late Oba Odugade a befitting burial. I'm using this medium to solicit the support of Ibadan people at home and in the Diaspora to join hands with us to make the ceremonies grand", the governor said.

Ajimobi, who said the late monarch was one of the people instrumental to him becoming the State Governor, described him as his father, saying it was a personal loss to him.
He advised the next Olubadan and the ones after him to emulate the good characters and humble way of life of the late Oba Odugade Odulana for the continued development, peace and progress of Ibadanland.
