Pulse Blogger: "His barren mother"

Sad African woman

This is an exclusive blog post by Joseph Sam Sarah. "...Was her crime worth staying on earth? No, verily it was her faultless fault, All the trials and ordeals she had fought..."

Over the years of uncompromised acceptance
She lived in fear of marital denial
Connections so near, expressions not fair
Wondering aloud, neighbours she loved so dear
Became an attorney to her death
Was her crime worth staying on earth?
No, verily it was her faultless fault
All the trials and ordeals she had fought
Now crumbled on the feet of her husbands pleasure
Blurrily and agitated, viewing her void future
She was the agent of her tanned epiphany
Alas! she cried, it was a shame to live.

Never having a bone of contention
She fell into the hands of prophetic visions
False and untrue declaration of rituals
Bountiful offer and lumpen price
Her high raised continuous hope
Pretended to see through the opaque hole
Friends visited with sympathetic mockery
Grinning in secrecy , an open doctrine
The reasons for her disarrayed expectation
Became an area of discussion
Experience be cursed!
She awaits a glorious cause.

With a sophisticated shackles of crown
She tried finding her shameful stand
In between this uncertainty of doubt
Her face shows tranquil disappointment
Did she lost it again?
Weeping and thinking, wishing for comfort rain
She fanned her chin with trembling lips
An unease settled on her prickled skin
Leaping into a blind darkness
A mist of pain formed her her happiness
The years seemed longer than short
Her fears transfigured back and forth.

The week when her first born came
Death spoke with a calm claim
Her jaw dropped in loathed grief
She was wounded from an icy peace
The white child longed for a mother's breast
To quench its tormenting thirst
But realised being painted motherless
He had been born to prove her innocence
To cry or to laugh, to smile or to sleep
Were a devastating decision to him
The journey looks rough and crookedly clear
Taking it to the end; he will find her solace there.
