Golden Eaglets Nwakali, Chukwueze set to finalize deals to join Arsenal
– Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze have not stalled on deals to sign for Arsenal
– The FIFA U17 World Cup winning duo have not been asked by Arsenal to undergo trials

A representative has denied that 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup winning duo Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze have stalled in signing for Arsenal due to having to undergo trials.
Reports emerged last week from that the duo would not be signing with Arsenal for now but according to Barrister Johnny Precious Ogbah, legal consultant to the boys’ academy Diamond Football Academy, negotiations between the players and the Gunners went smoothly.
The legal consultant also denied that the boys were ever told to under go trials.
He said: “Like is normal in any such transfer, the players and their guardians visit the clubs to take a look at the facilities on ground and ask questions and discuss issues that will help them in making up their mind whether or not to accept the club’s offer before them.”
The Barrister also sighted the signing of fellow Golden Eaglet Victor Osimhen as proof that deals with European clubs can go smoothly.

He said: “That’s exactly what happened. Same way Victor Osimhen visited Germany first before accepting to finally move there. Nobody asked any of the players to train with any of the Arsenal teams. I know this because I was there and involved in it all.
“My clients are trying to cross every T and dot every I to ensure they get the best deal for the players and for the academy and everything went smoothly. Mr. Dick Law the Arsenal Director of Football assured us even before we travelled that there would be no trials and there wasn’t any, so I wonder where the website got their story from because it is all balder-dash.
He added that Diamond Academy are in no hurry to let go of the players as they want to ensure they get the best deals with the clubs who will cater for their welfare.
“Before we left for London, people fed us with lies about Arsenal and some swore that the boys were going on trials but that was never the case. Both deals are in place and progressing positively but like I said, Diamond Football Academy are in no hurry as they want to ensure their players’ welfare and other important matters are well sorted out before the deal is concluded,” the barrister concluded.
