Naij.com can authoritatively confirm that the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has recalled some suspended caretaker committee chairmen of Abua/Odual, Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas.

According to the secretary to the Rivers state government, Chief Kenneth Kobani, the affected chairmen are expected to resume work with immediate effect.
Our correspondent disclosed that the affected local government chairmen were suspended on Monday, February 22, for not mobilizing stakeholders to attend a special security meeting called by Governor Wike.
The security meeting held at Omoku, headquarters Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government areas.
Sources say that all service commanders were present at the meeting were certain issues concerning the state’s security were tabled.
