Social Media: Mastering the process
There is so much more you and your business stand to gain if you master and use social media the right way.
Questions on how to get sales and maximize ROI for brands are a constant from clients. Nobody wants to use funds without knowing what results to expect of what they are spending on. What they might however fail to understand is that a process is always involved in social media marketing before you can see actual results. Let me briefly take you through the processes involved in achieving optimum success (Awareness and ROI) for your brand using social media.
Brand Awareness >>> Engagement >>> Sales >>> Brand Loyalty
Brand Awareness - Awareness is the very first and probably most important role of most social media campaigns. When your target audience knows you and they get the right (emphasis on ‘right’) information about you, then they trust you enough to let their funds out.
Engagement - After amassing a sizable number of fans and people who identify and interact with your brand, it is very important to engage in a manner that resonates with them i.e answering their questions about your brand, loving and appreciating them for ‘liking’ your page and being a part of the community, recognizing individuals for their consistency in sharing, liking and commenting on your posts and getting rid of spams on your page daily.
Sales - And then, the big one, SALES! Everyone wants to sell, but it is a process. Once you, as the social media manager has built a community online, communicating often with fans on the page and portrayed your brand in the best light, then sales is inevitable.
Brand Loyalty - This is what you should be gunning for – getting brand advocates. They do the selling for you, without pay. They have benefitted so much from being a part of our page that they see it selfish to keep such value to themselves, because truth be told, the process is faster with referrals. This is the ultimate goal, this is what makes social media marketing worthwhile.
