Dogara: 'Help Internally Displaced Persons,' Reps Speaker urges Nigerians
Dogara said the challenges confronting the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPS) can only be solved through compassion and love.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara, on Monday, March 21, 2016,called on Nigerians to assist people displayed by Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East.
The Speaker made the call at the inauguration of the Mobile Health Centre for IDPs in Wasa, in Abuja.
Dogara said the challenges confronting the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPS) can only be solved through compassion and love.
"When you look at the faces of the IDPs and the non-provision of facilities that will cater for their immediate health needs, it will be obvious that it is a serious problem.
"Where you find healthy people, they can engage in the pursuit of happiness, wealth creation and generation", he said.

Dogara said insurgency is an unfortunate occurrence and called on individuals, communities and the nation at large to ensure IDPs have facilities to care for their immediate needs.
