How Nigerian celebrities surprised Bovi at mum’s burial (Photos)
– Dignitaries gather in support for comedian Bovi as he buries mother in style on Saturday, March 12 in Delta state
– Comedians Basketmouth, Julius Agwu and I Go Dye put up surprising performances at the ceremony
On Saturday, March 12, some influential Nigerians gathered in Oleh, Isoko, Delta state for the burial ceremony of late Mrs. Margaret U. Ugboma, the mother of comedian Bovi, who passed on January 25, 2016 at the age of 58.
The ceremony took place at the St. Paul’s Cathedral, Oleh diocese, Delta state.

Amongst the dignitaries gathered to commiserate with the comedian were Delta state governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Nollywood veteran Richard Mofe-Damijo, Julius Agwu and his wife, Buchi, I Go Save, I Go Dye as well as Basketmouth and Ali Baba.
Julius who survived a near-death experience in 2015 led the team as they took control of the musical instruments during the church service.
He later took to his Instagram page to share a post which he captioned: “Today in Delta state.
“And we took over the band, Basketmouth on the drums, I Go Dye as my back up singer at Bovi’s mother’s funeral in Oleh city.”
Basketmouth also seized the opportunity to make a little joke as he shared an image of the church with an enclosed area adjacent to the choir stand where they had musical instruments.
He captioned the post on his Instagram thus: “Clearly this church don’t trust her member…or anyone for that matter…but in God we trust.”
