#Made-in-Nigeria: Federal Government promises to produce lady mechanic's 1st-of-it's kind car
The Lady Mechanic Initiative is getting support from the Federal Government to produce it's car.
The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, has given his support to the Lady Mechanic Initiative.
According to Daily Trust, Onu has promised to help the mass production of a car being developed by some women.
"Let me assure you that my ministry will support this initiative. Six of our agencies would help in bringing out finished product so that you can realise your dream", he said.

The minister said this proves that this administration is interested in closing the gender gap that exists in the engineering field in the country.
He made this promise to the Executive Director /Founder of the Lady Mechanic Initiative, Sandra Aguebor, who led a delegation on a visit to the minister's office.
Aguebor responded by saying the Made-in-Nigeria vehicle would be ready in 15 months.
She also revealed that the car is being built by 700 female mechanics in five states.
