Stephanie Linus: Actress receives her AMVCA car prize (photos)

The Nollywood actress shared photos on Instagram receiving a brand new car from CEO of CIG Motors Ms. Diana Chen, Ed of Cig and Efosa Aiyevbomwan of Mnet /Africa Magic.

The brand new car Stephanie Linus won for the Best Overall Movie Africa at the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers Awards (AMVCA) in Lagos on Saturday, March 5, 2016 is finally in her possession.

The actress’ self directed film “Dry” tells the story of a teenage girl who is forced to marry a man four times her age.

 

The movie also took home in the award for Best Sound Editor (Marquex Jose Guillermo) and Best Costume Designer (Uche Nancy).

It received AMVCA nominations in six other categories including: Best Movie -West Africa, Best Cinematographer, Best Art Director, Best Director and Best Makeup Artist.
