Ahead of their Week 14 fixture against Mountain of Fire football club (MFM fc) of Lagos, the coach of Akwa United FC Ereh Dokubo has stated that defeating the ‘Olukoya Boys’ at the Agege stadium is very possible, adding that his team will get something from the game.

MFM FC host Akwa United today April 30, in Lagos, as both teams continue their quest for glory in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

Recall that a well-taken goal by Christian Pyagbara ensured Enyimba secured their first away win of the season with a 1 – 0 win over Akwa United, and consequently, the Uyo side suspended their Belgian coach, Maurice Cooreman, and his assistant, Dokubo, was mandated to lead the team.

In an exclusive chat with NAIJ.com Sports, Dokubo stated that his team will not lose to the new-comers, adding that a win for his side is very much possible.

“We are here in a Lagos, very well prepared,” he started. “Although, we lost our last game at home to Enyimba, and if that could happen, nothing stops us from winning away from home as well.”

The former head-coach of Sharks FC of Port Harcourt also promised fans back in Uyo that there will be positive changes in the team and that there is no cause for alarm.

“There is no cause for alarm. We are ready for this game and I am sure we will get something out of it,” he concluded.
