On the state of the nation, he stated that, the APC-led administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, has the grand plan of changing Nigeria from a good to a better country. Senator Buhari also spoke on the lingering fuel crisis. He said the solution to fuel shortage is an urgent deregulation of the downstream sector. He stated: “We are in this mess because of our poor maintenance culture, if we had maintained the existing refineries in the country, we would not have relied on imported refined products for sustenance.”
He did not talk on the state of nation alone, without urging Senator Saraki to resign. This is in tandem to the present travails of the Senate president as one witness named Michael Wetkast on Wednesday, April 6, told the court that the Senate president, Bukola Saraki continued to receive salary four years after leaving office, as the governor of Kwara state.
