Rhyme and Reason Concert Fuel Your Passion

What are you passionate about? Is it Rap, Spoken Word, Graffiti, Dance, Skate boarding… name it! Get your passion fuelled up this season on the go.

The key is "expression". Express yourself. Your rhyme, your passion, your art, your reason.

One such expression, the art of 'Spoken Word' has existed for many millennia. It is very powerful performance-based poetry that focuses on the aesthetics of word play and story-telling. It is often used in conjunction with other art forms, such as music, theatre, and dance, and has been an outlet for people, especially youths, to creatively express their views, emotions or life experiences.

 

The 'Rhyme and Reason' concert was the first and remains the only Spoken Word & Rap event. The last edition held at the prestigious 'Landmark Event Centre' Oniru, drawing audiences from several prestigious universities across the nation and various organizations across the city of Lagos and beyond. It was a great success, which targeted an audience of 1,500 youths.

 

This time, it gets bigger and better, targeting at least 3000 youths and featuring a wider and more popular ensemble of artists.
