NAIJ.com has obtained photos from the scene of an accident caused by drunk driver.

The incident which happened on Saturday, April 16, at airport junction road near life camp area of Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital, involved two vehicles.

Witnesses say the drunk driver collided with another car as he was said to be on top speed from Dantata flyover.

Reports say lack of median on the road has caused several accident in the area, but at the scene of Saturday’s accident, the drunken driver took most blames for the incident, with some calling for his arrest and subsequent detention.

Only two days ago, Premium Times reported that the former Speaker of the Kebbi state House of Assembly, Aminu Musa Habib Jega, was confirmed dead in an auto accident.

According to sources close to Jega’s family, the accident occurred along Birnin Kebbi-Kangiwa road at about 5.21pm.

The ex-Speaker was also the special adviser on local government to the incumbent governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
