Trust in a relationship is very important and when broken can cause the total breakdown of a relationship.

From your mail, you shouldn’t have lied to your boyfriend; it means you didn’t trust him enough to tell him what was wrong from the start.

How serious was the issue that you didn’t say the truth initially, was it too bad? Did you feel bad when you lied or you regret it right now because you got caught in your lie?

People generally feel you take them for granted when you tell them lies and they get angry knowing they were fooled.

Since you still love him very much and you want to get him back, you can start by giving him time to process all these. If you have tried everything possible to get through to him and it isn’t working, you can include a third party. Meet a family member or friend he listens to and convince them to advocate on your behalf.

If you get another chance with him, take your time and win back that trust from him. It’ll take a while but you’ll win in the end.
