Christina Grimmie: Selena Gomez breaks down in tears as she pays tribute to late singer

The 23-year-old singer broke down in tears as she dedicated and performed "Nobody" in honour of the late singer on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

Following the death of Christina Grimmie who was shot and killed by an obsessed fan, Selena Gomez has paid tribute to her, getting emotional on stage.

The 23-year-old singer broke down in tears as she dedicated and performed "Nobody" in honour of the late singer on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

Gomez had reportedly taken Grimmie's death very personally as she had been signed by her stepdad at the age of 14 for the management of her singing career.

 

"The Voice" ex contestant was gunned down by a fan identified as Kevin James Loibl, 27, on Friday, June 10, 2016, after her Orlando concert.

Gomez had been Grimmie's mentor, hence her very emotional reaction while giving the tribute.
