Dean Ambrose is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion after winning this weekend’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event.

After defeating five Superstars to win the money in the bank, Ambrose was entitled to cash in on and ask for a match with the World Heavyweight title.

As challenger Seth Rollins defeated Roman Reigns in what is already being touted as a Match of the Year candidate Ambrose cashed in within seconds.

The “Lunatic Fringe” ran out from the crowd and attacked his former SHIELD partner, cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase he had won earlier in the night.

Ambrose then pinned Rollins off his Dirty Deeds finishing maneuver to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.
