Euro 2016: England crash out as Iceland progress into the quarter finals

England have crashed out of Euro 2016 after a 1-2 loss to minnows, Iceland in the last game of the round-of-16.
Wayne Rooney put the Three Lions ahead from the spot kick after just four minutes into the game but their celebration was short lived as Ragnar Sigurdsson equalized two minutes later.
Iceland went ahead through Kolbeinn Sigthorsson in the 19th minute after Joe Hart could not handle the number nine’s low shot as it went into the back of the net.

England threw everything they had at Iceland but the underdogs stood firm and solid in defence as they ran away with a famous 2-1 victory.
Iceland now meets France in a quarter final match on Sunday as they continue their Cinderella story at Euro 2016.
