Baby Musa who was allegedly abused by his stepmothers in Kano is recovering well and due to be discharged.

Aisha Buhari and the wife of vice president Yemi Osinbajo visited baby Musa in the hospital.

The wife of the President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, shared the photo of little boy.

Mrs. Buhari involved in his care since she transferred him to Abuja hospital recently.

“The doctors have said that he will recover but sadly he will suffer some permanent damage, cruelty meted out to a minor is intolerable. I hereby call on the government of Kano State to ensure that justice is served to the perpetrators of this dastardly act. Our children are our future, they should be nutured and protected.” Mrs Buhari stated.

Baby Musa recovers.The doctors have certified him fit to be discharged

Baby Musa was allegedly tortured by his grandmother, Hafsatu, and stepmother, Zainab, at their home in Gulu town in the Rimin Gado local government area of the state.

They cut his tongue, broke his arms, damaged his right eye and then castrated him with a blade. Extensive condemnation heralded the stepmothers’ action and even the father’s attitude leading to this unfortunate development.

The woman, who brutalized the boy, is now on the run.

Emir of Kano, Sanisi Lamido Sanusi earlier also visited the boy. The women are on the run.

Musa’s mother left his father after a disagreement which ended in a divorce.

The woman was said to have handed him over to his father, who then put Musa in the care of  his grandmother and stepmother.
