Premier League club dump Nigerian duo
– West Ham have sent Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike back to their parent clubs, Chelsea and Fenerbahce
– The club have opted to keep Angelo Ogbonna and young defender Tunji Akinola
– Moses scored one goal for West Ham while Emenike scored two goals in his time at the club
West Ham have released Nigerian duo of Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike, after their loan deals expired.
The Premier League club confirmed this in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday, June 7.
However, the club have opted to keep Angelo Ogbonna and young defender Tunji Akinola on its pay-book.
While Victor Moses joined the Hammers on a season-long loan last summer, Emenike was taken up on loan from Fenerbahce just before the close of the winter transfer market in January.

Moses, 25, recorded 21 appearances for West Ham in the Premier League, scoring just a goal against Manchester City. While Emenike played 13 times in the Premier League, scoring two goals in West Ham win 5 – 1 win over Blackburn in the FA Cup.

Cameroonian Alex song has also been released by the club and he’s expected to join his parent club Barcelona.
West Ham qualified for next season’s UEFA Europa league despite a seventh place finish, thanks to Manchester United victory over Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final.
