Roma Pay 5 Million Euros For Nigerian Youngsters

Italian Serie A side AS Roma have announced they have paid a combined five million Euros to sign Nigerian youngsters Sadiq Umar and Nura Abdullahi permanently on a four-year contract each.


Last season, both players originally from Abuja Football College played on loan at Roma from Serie B side Spezia.

Striker Sadiq Umar has already made his Serie A debut, making six appearances and scoring twice.

Right back Nura, on the other hand, was sidelined for several months by injuries, but he is highly regarded.
