Claudio Ranieri, the manager of Leicester City, speaks about Riyad Mahrez and his future career.

Mahrez has been heavily linked with a move away from Leicester.  And reportedly PFA player of the year Riyad Mahrez is ready to quit Leicester City despite the Foxes hoping to tie him to a new and improved contract.

Mahrez who was signed from La Havre scored 17 goals and recorded 11 assists as Leicester won the Premier League title.

The Algeria international signed a contract extension with Leicester in August 2015 and earns £35,000-a-week.

However, Ranieri states that the 25-year-old will stay with Leicester: “I am very confident with him. He stays.”

The coach stressed: “He wants to stay here with us. He enjoys it, he is laughing. He is not a man who says, ‘Oh coach, I want to go.’ No, he is happy.”
