Barcelona star Javier Mascherano reacts to the rumours as Barcelona goalkeeper could be signed by Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly  agreed a €16 million deal to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Following Joe Hart’s exclusion from the Manchester City side that defeated Sunderland at the Etihad, the England number one could be on his way out.

And according to Marca City now look set to take the Chile goalkeeper  instead for a fee that could rise to €20m.

When asked about the move in a media conference, Mascherano reacted:  “We don’t know anything, honestly. We don’t know if it’s true or a lie”.

The Argentine stressed: “I hope he stays, but obviously I will understand it [if he goes].”
