Olobiri finally hits the cinemas from 21st October
The Silverbird Cinemas VI was lit on Sunday 9th October 2016 as Nollywood stars, directors and producers turned up for the VIP screening of the movie.
Hosted by the lead actor of the movie Richard Mofe Damijo, the guests included cast like Olu Jacobs, Taiwo Ajayi Lycett, Ifeanyi Williams and Producer Rogers Ofime joined by guests Ali Baba, Yaw, Segun Arinze, Fred Amata, Mildred Okwu, Gideon Okeke, Funmi Holder, Sola Adewumi, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Judith Audu, Edi Lawani and many more.
And from 21st October, the award winning movie OLOIBIRI is finally going to be showing at cinemas across Nigeria.
Oloibiri is a movie based on true events about the first place where oil was first discovered in Nigeria in 1956, the negligence suffered by the community when they were the pride of the nation; and how one man with the aid of his henchmen, seeks revenge and change with virulence. Oloibiri is not just another movie; it is a story - our story, our history, with a clarion call to every Nigerian and indeed our government to help develop the pillaged community.
Beyond its didactic and historic storyline, the movie is fraught with intrigue, suspense, and action – all of which make for an entertaining movie.
OLOIBIRI will be showing at cinemas near you from the 21st of October.
Make plans now to go see this award winning story of regret and revenge. Don’t miss it!
