President Buhari departs Abuja to Edo for a 2-day work visit
President Buhari today, Nov. 7th 2016, departed Abuja for a 2-day work visit, to Edo State.
According to the president's Personal Assistant on Media, Bashir Ahmad; the president will use the occasion of his visit to pay a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II.
The president will also be commissioning several key projects in the state which includes; the new 5-Star Central Hospital in Benin City; the Upper Siluko Road and the Samuel Ogbemudia College (formerly New Era College, Benin City), Edo University, in Iyamho and the Ugbegun-Ujiogba-Ebudin-Igueben -Ewohinmi road, all in Edo State.
He will also inspect the reclaimed Queen Ede Erosion site, in Benin City.
