French president was the first foreign leader to invite Buhari for a state visit briefly after he won the presidential poll last March.
Presidency sources said Buhari’s route and his team would be disclosed this weekend before he leaves for France.
Hollande has played an essential role in the war against Boko Haram in Nigeria, and hosted a meeting last year of member countries of the Lake Chad Basin Commission, which improved the cooperation between Nigeria, Chad, Cameroun and Niger in the fight against the insurgency.
Both leaders will, among other issues, be expected to exchange visions on the progress made so far and further support that could be given to Nigeria to end the terrorism.
