It is no longer news that K1’s marketer Chief Saliu Adetunji who is the CEO of has been named as the new Olubadan of Ibadan after the demise of the former Olubadan Oba Samuel Adelana Odugade on Tuesday, January 19.

Chief Adetunji is the man, who discovered K1 De Ultimate, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and as sign of respect and support to the Olubadan designate. The Fuji legend K1 had to cut short his planned trip to America to visit Chief Adetunji in his Ibadan home where led prayers for the succession enthronement of Chief Adetunji as the new Olubadan in his bedroom.

Before going to his mentor’s house, K1 had stopped at the late Olubadan’s house to commiserate with the family.

Meanwhile, K1’s newly graduated lawyer daughter Dami Marshal has started making use of her knowledge of law when she threatened to sue Wizkid and Iyanya for plagiarism after Dammy Krane accused Wizkid of stealing his songs. Dami even said she is now undergoing her masters in Intellectual Property Law.
