Jollof is one of the most common dishes in West Africa with millions of people sitting down to eat the tasty rice everday.

It comes in many forms and has spread across the world to become a popular dish among Africans, inspiring such dishes like the American meal jambalaya.

Delicious jollof, you cannot beat it!

One thing about jollof has never failed to generate controversy however:  Where exactly was it first created?
