"Wives on Strike": Meet female cast of movie in new pictures

"Wives on Strike," tells the story of a group of market women who deny their husbands of sex in a bid to stir them into taking a decision.

April 8 is almost here, and new photos featuring female cast of the anticipated 'Wives on Strike" movie is here.

The upcoming comedy film features Nollywood talents Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma Mcdermott, Kehinde Bankole, Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu, Kenneth Okonkwo among others.

About movie

Wives on Strike, is a hilarious comedy about a group of market women who decided to take matters into their own hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her own father.

The women, who hilariously interpret their roles, set a series of events in motion to give the movie many moments of laughter without missing a beat on the reason for everyone to know why they are on strike.

Omoni Oboli recently clarified reports that the upcoming movie was copied from the Spike Lee movie, ‘Chiraq’.

According to the actress, most Nigerians are always in a hurry to diminish the importance of any member who achieves success beyond the others, out of envy, spite, conspiracy, or competitive feeling.

Omoni who has never met Spike Lee, stated that if she  wanted to copy a movie theme, it would be safer to go for one who isn’t as popular as Spike Lee.
