The Los Blancos have only lost to an English opponent at the Bernabeu on two occasions out of 14 matches played.
Arsenal and Liverpool are the only English sides to have recorded victories at the Bernabeu in the 2006/07 and 2008/09 seasons with 1-0 wins respectively.
The last time Real Madrid and Manchester City met at the Bernabeu, the whites came out tops with a slim 3-2 victory in the 2012/13 season in a keenly contested match.
