Saraki Ignores APC, Promotes PDP Man

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has ignored All Progressive Party directives and installed Peoples Democratic Party senator Isa Galadu as chief of staff.

PDP member, Senator Isa Galadu representing Kebbi North was appointed as Chief of staff for the newly elected APC senate President.

This appointment was made known to members of the press by Saraki’s Special Adviser on Media, Yusuf Olaniyonu.

The Senate President announced the appointments on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, via a post on his Facebook page.

“I have appointed Senator Isa Galadu as my Chief of Staff and also Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu as Special Adviser on Media. Please note the appointments take effect immediately,” his post reads.

Saraki had been directed by the APC to appoint their hand picked choices for these strategical positions but Saraki has once again gone against the choices of the rulling party.
