The first half of the year was somewhat promising and we had high hopes artistes in the rap scene would continue to challenge themselves and prove to be worthy (healthy) competition to each other but no artist has raised the bar and blown our minds by putting out dope tracks and remaining consistent.
However, the artists that made our list this month have shown that they different from the rest with their sound, message and delivery.

Vector – King Kong (Remix) ft Sarkodie
It’s easy to say Vector is that artist that does not conform for sales, he has stayed true to the craft from day 1 and once again gives a befitting remix treatment to his smash single – King Kong, this time he hired one of the finest rappers on the continent – Sarkodie as they both trade bars on this hard hitting rap tune
Mojeed – Clockwork
When we named Mojeed has one of the best of 2014 the Internet was BUZZING wondering if the deserved that spot. He has had a very slow year so far until he popped up with Clockwork which serves as a prequel to the release of his first official single off his debut album. Clockwork is a reassurance that Mojeed is definitely deserving of the title with this track produced by leriq.
Aina More – Girls Killing It
Aina More has constantly churned out dope songs this year, she’s showing no sign(s) of complacency.
“Girls Killing It “ is a new campaign by the rapper basically upholding women doing exploits in their various fields, Aina is definitely killing it
Boogey – If You Knew ft Sojay
Boogey is easily the finest lyricist in the country right now bar Modenine, the super lyricist enlists Edge Records vocalist – Sojay for this enthralling story telling rap single

Yung6ix brought is A game on “Blessings” Oritse Femi also added the street vibe to the tune. This is easily 6ix’s best effort in recent times as far as commercial appeal is concerned
