KONAMI 2015: MI, Sheyi Shey Wow A Packed Campos Mini Stadium (PHOTOS)
The Campos Mini stadium on Lagos Island was host to the 2015 edition of KONAMII football tournament which organised by Change Africa Project to carter for some selected orphanage homes in Lagos.
The event which kicked off at about 11am on Saturday, July 26 saw an influx of mostly youthful Lagosians who came to be entertained but most importantly contribute their quota to the success of the event.
The event was headlined by performances of artiste’s Jude Abaga popularly called MI and Sheyi Shay. Other celebrities that attended include, Naeto C, Sexy Steel, AY, Ayo Jay and Solid Star.
Speaking to a Naij.com correspondent after the event, Solid Star said: “Charity is part of giving back to the society who make up the people who are my fans and so I am always interested in giving back”.

Solid star also expressed interest in attending the event next year. His manager said on his behalf: “Solidstar is a celebrity and as long as he’s reached out, he will these kind off causes.”
A volunteer at the event, Tolu Odunsi said: “Being part of Konami makes me proud. This is a selfless service and you can see from the turn out that out intentions are clear”.
Asked if the organizers always want to make money of events like this, Tolu said: “This is a charity event which means helping others comes first, sharing profits among ourselves comes second or even lat on our agenda if you say”.
