Obafemi Awolowo University Management shuts school
The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State has announced the closure of the institution.
The school was shut down over the unresolved crisis between the management and members of the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU).

An earlier promised made to the students of the school stated that the university management has no plan to close down the institution but they have done otherwise by asking students to vacate the premises on Monday.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the school, Olanrewaju Abiodun stated the management has declared a ‘mid-semester’ break and students have been asked to vacate the university by Monday.

In an earlier protest, the Students’ Union threatened to close activities in the school if the management refuses to agree with NASU beforeMonday.
