Police Arrest Notorious Kidnappers In Rivers, Recover Arms And Ammunition

Men of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) arrested two alleged notorious kidnappers in Rivers state on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

At about 7.30 am, the police operatives trailed and nabbed the suspects in their hideouts in the state’s capital, Port Harcourt.

According to report made available on the website of the NPF, some items were recovered by the operatives. They included four locally-made pistols and 65 rounds of ammunition for an AK-47 riffle.

The suspects are also arrested in connection with the kidnap of a lady. The incident happened on August 3, 2015.

The anti-kidnapping unit of the NPF in Port-Harcourt is reported to have commenced proper investigation.
