Troops Recover Items From Boko Haram Terrorists (Photos)
Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, an acting director of the army public relations, says the Nigerian military has recovered some items being used as improvised explosives devices (IEDs) from Boko Haram terrorists
The gallant troops yesterday made a startling discovery while combing and clearing terrorists in and around Dikwa, Borno state.
According to Usman, the troops discovered pile of street lamps poles cut into pieces by Boko Haram terrorists which they have been using for making the IEDs.
In another cordon and search operation in Jakana village, the troops of the 7th Division Garrison recovered 15 cows, 174 goats and a donkey from rustlers.

Usman said that the animals have since been handed over to their identified legitimate owners while the rustlers were apprehended and are currently undergoing investigation.
The troops arrested Mai Mustapha, a fuel supplier to Boko Haram terrorists at Jehu near Jakana.
Another Boko Haram member identified as Madu who coordinates buying of food items from neighbouring villages for the terrorists was also apprehended.
Early this morning, in another exchange of gunfire with the terrorists, the troops blocked elements that attacked Dumbuluwa village in Fika local government area of Yobe state.
Usman said the gallant soldiers killed eight of the terrorists, while two vigilantes were wounded by fragments of an IED.
