The Lagos State Police Command has arrested four members of a notorious gang that has been terrorising residents of Ifako area in Gbagada area of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Patricia Amadin said: “At about 2pm today the 27th of August 2015, the Command received information that miscreants who were armed with guns, cudgels and other dangerous weapons had embarked on a damage spree on Adeleye Street, Ifako, destroying in their trail, property which value is yet to be estimated.

“Fortunately, the rapid intervention of operatives of the Lagos state Police Command resulted in the arrest of four of the suspects.
Among those arrested include Habeeb Jimoh, 21; Lekan Faloba, 20; Samson Samogodo, 21; and Abass Ojo, 19.”

The suspects have since been detained and the search is on for the rest members of the gang. The police mouthpiece also hinted that investigation into the incident is underway.
Following the alarming rate of crime in Lagos state, the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has said that the state is under siege and needs urgent divine intervention. The ministry said the incessant rate of robbery, cultism, drug abuse and corruption among other social ills could have totally subdued the state, but for the grace of God.
