“Iquo’s Journal”: Film starring Kate Henshaw and Femi Jacobs to debut in cinemas September 25
Produced by the makers of "Lekki Wives", the film follows the life of its lead character Iquo played by Henshaw who is a carrier of the HIV virus.
Starring award winning performers Kate Henshaw and Femi Jacobs, “Iquo’s Journal” is set to premiere in cinemas across Nigeria on Friday, September 25, 2015.
The drama film follows the life of its lead character Iquo played by Henshaw who is a carrier of the HIV virus. Following all the tragedy in her life, Iquo stands strong and uses her experiences to help others. Jacobs plays the role of Banjo Ogunleye, a filmmaker and Iquo’s husband.
The soon to be released drama also features Malachi Hart, Blessing Effiom Egbe, and Josephine Ewuru. The film received some funding from Project ACT Nollywood.
“Iquo’s Journal” is by Blessing Effiom Egbe. Egbe is the CEO of Concept Network Productions and the producer of hit series “Lekki Wives” and “Two Brides And A Baby”.
