Naij.com Lagos Guide Columnist Nominated For CNN Journalism Awards
Five Nigerians have made it to the finals of the 2015 CNN Multi Choice African Journalist Award, including Naij.com Lagos City Guide Columnist, Kola Tubosun.
The award which is open to African professional journalists, has got 31 finalist from 15 countries. The list was announced by Ferial Haffajee, Chair of the independent judging panel.

According to CNN reports, there were entries from 39 countries across the continent, including French and Portuguese speaking Africa.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the prize, the finalists will enjoy an all-expense paid four day programme of workshops, media forums and networking in Nairobi, Kenya, culminating in a Gala Award Ceremony in October 2015.
Kola Tubosun who blogs at Ktravula, also doubles as a linguist, teacher and writer.
It is recalled that Bayo Olupohunda, Naij.com Head of Lagos City Guide was a runner-up in the Culture Category of the 19th edition of the CNN Multichoice African Journalist of the Year Awards in 2014.
Also in July Eustace Dunn an asociate senior editor of Naij,com, emerged one of the awardees of the Digital Publishing Innovation Summit, which held in New York City.
Dunn reportedly beat 5 other US-based nominees in the highly competitive award category, to clinch the prize of best innovation for integration of mobile in digital publishing
