REVEALED: READ What Tanzania Did To Frustrate Super Eagles

Tanzania coach Boniface Charles Mkwasa has reacted to his team 0-0 draw against Nigeria on Saturday, September 5.

Speaking to supersport.com, Mkwasa extoled the performance of the Super Eagles’ keeper Carl Ikeme.

Mkwasa went on to praise the super Eagles for showing great character and determination but expressed happiness with his team’s performance.

The coach also revealed that his team’s training in Turkey prior to the game, had a positive effect on his players.

He said: “I am delighted by our performance today as we were the better side though we lost numerous chances thanks to the heroic performance of Nigeria keeper Ikeme who denied us.

“It’s been tough for the team losing game after game but I now believe the draw against Nigeria has signalled our aim of improving in each game.

“We will rectify our mistakes and look at areas that need strengthening I am glad for the training we undertook in Turkey which had a positive effect on the players as team work and cohesion was evident in the game.”

Meanwhile, Coach Sunday Oliseh, has also commented on his team’s performance against Tanzania.

Oliseh blamed lack of organization for the disappointing performance.
