Why There’s No Need For Buhari To Probe APC Members – Lagos Chairman Speaks Up

The chairman, Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Henry Ajomale has said there is no need for President Muhammadu Buhari to probe APC members because they were not part of the previous federal government.

Speaking in an interview with The Punch, Ajomale said those accusing Buhari of being selective in his anti-corruption programme were afraid of being probed because they had something to hide.

The APC was never in government, why does the President have to probe them?” he asked.

He described the accusation as diversionary, saying people should rather concentrate on what needs to be done to make those who served in the previous government explain how they got the wealth they made within that period.

Ajomale said: “If they have nothing to fear, those being probed should not bother themselves. If a man makes genuine money through his private enterprises, no government can probe that business since he has nothing to do with governance. I think the accusation is diversionary.
