Family Force Girl Lick Toilet, Eat Her Own Vomit For Several Years Before Beating Her To Death

A 19-year-old girl died at the hands of members of her own family in her own home in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Shahena Uddin was leaving in constant fear almost all her life. The girl’s family, her brothers, sisters and sisters-in-law regularly punished a vulnerable teenager: she was forcibly fed rice, paper, and even her own vomit and faeces.

Besides, she was not allowed to use a toilet and was forced to stand staring into a toilet bowl for hours, if she attempted to use the sink, she was severely beaten.

Last year she was found beaten to death on her bathroom floor after choking on her own vomit. Family members who called the ambulance said that she was sick and fainted.

However, the police investigation revealed that blood and vomit stains had been concealed and Shahena’s bloody clothes had been placed in bin bags and put outside.

Prosecutor Simon Trimmer QC said: “She probably endured several beatings that night. This was a troubled family unit held together by internal discipline of an extreme variety. She had been beaten with weapons during the previous 24 hours. 

The regime of brutality and extreme violence was so deeply embedded and feared, that she could not risk the results of any form of complaint to the outside world.”

Her four brothers, a sister and her two sisters-in-law are now standing trial, accused of Shahena’s murder. However, all of them deny causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable kinswoman. The trial continues.
