PHOTOS: Newborn Miraculously Survives After Teen Mother Throws Him From 5th Floor

A newborn baby has miraculouly survived after his teen mother threw him out of a fifth floor window in Dongguan, southern China.

A newborn boy who was thrown from more than 10 metres up has survived the fall with just a broken arm and now is recovering at hospital.

The boy’s 15-year-old mother, named only as Zhen, gave birth to the baby in the toilet of the rented apartment and decided to kill her son moments after birth.

During questioning, Zhen said she fell pregnant after cohabiting with her 19-year-old boyfriend who didn’t want a baby and refused to take her to the hospital.

She added: “My boyfriend was very cold and didn’t care for me and the baby. He kept on saying, don’t keep the child. I did it because I lost my mind.” 

The baby who landed on a pile of rubbish has suffered fractures to his left arm. He has also experienced some swelling to his head and received scratches to his face. However, doctors claim that the baby is healthy and stable.

Zhen has been arrested on susicion of attempted murder after her landlady found a naked crying baby and called the police and ambulance.

Police are currently searching for the girl’s boyfriend named Jiang, who has disappeared immediately after the incident. The case is under investigation.
