Grandmother Lands In Trouble For Doing The Abominable To Grandchild

A grandmother and another person, on Thursday, September 24, were caught trying to dump the corpse of a seven year old girl, Iyadun Ajayi, behind her father’s house in Esa-Oke in Obokun local government council of Osun state.

The seven year old was living with her mother, after she had divorced the husband some years ago to marry an Islamic scholar.

According to Daily Independent, Iyadun was said to have fallen ill and died despite efforts to save her life. Her mother, identified as Funke, sent her mother, her driver, Kassim and her new husband to dump the child’s body at the back of her former husband’s house in Esa Oke.

However residents of the area who saw them raised alarm and two people were caught.

One of the residents, who spoke to Daily Independent  said: “ We saw the people and challenged to know their mission. We discovered that they came to dump the corpse of a seven year old girl at the back of her father’s house.

“After checking the corpse thoroughly we discovered that her private part had been removed, the two buttocks, the knees and ankles were also mutilated. We raised the alarm and two of them ran away but the grandmother and the drivers were handed over to the police.”
