Lukaku, Ivanovic And The Most Overweight Premier League Players
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic have been ranked among the most “overweight” footballer in the Premier League.
The NHS used the popular Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine if a player’s height is proportionate to his weight.
According to mirror.co.uk, the NHS states that ‘if your BMI is 25 or more, you should think about losing weight’.
using this guideline it was determined that the most overweight player with more than one appearance in the League is Norwich City’s Martin Olsson with a score of 28.

The next players who needs to lose body fat are West Ham’s Darren Randolph and Crystal Palace’s Fraizer Campbell with scores of 27.7
Next is Leicester City’s Wes Morgan with an index value of 27.2 followed by Everton’s Darron Gibson with 26.9.
The top ten includes Branislav Ivanovic (26.6), Ryan Bertrand (26.5), John Ruddy (26), Romelu Lukaku (26) and Danny Graham (also 26).
The NHS guidelines says those under 18.5 need to: “talk to their GP about gaining weight.”
