Lagos is the economic capital of West Africa as a lot of people come to the city to do business. The city is a fertile ground for all kinds of business to thrive.

Some people realise that they need to bring their goods and services very close to the customers. Some traders have however gone to the extreme as they pitch their trade in dangerous places. One of those places is on train tracks.

Due to the large number of people who use the rail, traders now flock the railway track especially along the Agege area. They display their wares on the track and at the sound of an approaching train; they try to get as many of their goods out of the way as possible. There have been reported cases where traders are crushed because they are unable to get away quickly.
