According to the BBC, the largest bombs went-off in the Shia-majority town of Khalis in the eastern province of Diyala, killing no fewer than 40 people.
A second attack in which 10 people were killed was carried out in al-Zubair town, about 15km south-west of the oil town of Basra.
Police said the third bomb which went-off in Baghdad killed at least 13 people.
Associated Press reports that 25 others were hurt in the blast at the capital’s north-eastern neighbourhood of Husseiniya.
The Islamic State (IS) militants have said they carried out the blast near Basra, but no group has taken responsibility for the other attacks so far.
In recent times, IS militants have continually assaulted Shia areas, bombing government targets in a bid to shake the Shia-led government in Baghdad.

According to the United Nations (UN), in September, 717 Iraqis were killed and 1,216 wounded in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict within the nation.
The reports show that Baghdad alone accounted for 257 of the deaths.
However, the UN says these figures cover only the casualties that can be verified, and are likely to be far below the actual tolls.
