Urgent Help: Accident victim needs N5m for corrective surgery
This young Nigerian is urgently in need of financial assistance to help her get corrective surgery.
Ruth Morounmubo Olawoye, was a bubbling young lady before calamity struck her in 2010, as she was involved in a ghastly motor accident that left her battling for her life, needing surgery to put herself back to her feet.
Today, 32-year-old lady is still in need of money to undergo another corrective surgery if she is to get her life back and her face in shape.
Though many Nigerians had responded to her plight by donating to that effect, something she is very appreciative, she is in need of the sum of N5 million for the surgery.
The incident that left her in this state happened when Ruth had the tragic road accident where she lost one of her eyes, one hand and four fingers, while travelling from Ketu to Epe for a church programme. The 14-seater bus she was in collided with a petrol tanker and caught fire, 10 passengers losing their lives in the process. She was one of the lucky survivors but she was left scarred for life.
Olawoye, who despite her condition, released a gospel album entitled Aiyetoto where she narrated her ordeal and pains after she was involved in an accident that led to the amputation of her hand at the age of 20, wants to be useful to the society, her family and her maker.
Presently, Olawoye has managed to realize N548, 500 and is still in need of assistance from kind-hearted Nigerians to raise the N5 million.
